The Invacare microAIR MA1000 is a true low air loss therapy mattress that adjusts its pressure in real-time to help prevent pressure ulcers or protect patients vulnerable to pressure ulcers. The MA100 provides healing by regulating temperature and reducing patient sweating and resultant maceration. This product also automatically adjusts pressure based upon weight, height, and position of the patient to enhance healing time.The MA1000’s Auto Fowler mode can sense a patient’s sacrum and gluteal regions and make adjustments as necessary.

The built-in HeelSense technology decreases the pressure around the heel area, preventing injury and aiding healing. The MA1000 has a 3:1 cell deflating cycle that periodically adjusts the pressure of the bed for every third cell so that no spot on the body is exposed to pressure for too long. The MA1000 can support up to 600 pounds safely, perfect for most patients. This product can be combined with Dermatherapy Bed Sheets which are designed to wick away moisture and prevent shear forces that may irritate ulcers.
